Birth & Breastfeeding Post-Pandemic: The Silver Linings Playbook

May 14, 2020 @ 12:00 pm June 30, 2020 @ 3:00 pm

The inequities, systemic failures and policy gaps for pregnant women, birthing people and new parents have been laid bare and even exacerbated by Covid-19. But there are silver linings to this pandemic–and we must prepare now to turn those silver linings into solid solutions for shifting the birth and breastfeeding landscape. This pandemic will soon end, and many of the same commercial, political and structural forces will quickly return to “business as usual” without collective and concerted effort. The window of opportunity to act will be small and we must be ready to act!

Join me for a 4-week experience of community building, strategic planning and tactical mapping to ultimately co-create a post pandemic Call To Action for the birth and breastfeeding movement.

We can forge a new path and create the silver linings playbook. But we must get ready now, so we don’t have to get ready later.
